To date (Dec 2023), I think this is the best pizza I've ever had--the plain round pie, that is. It is so incredibly thin and crispy, almost transparent, but still has plenty of body. The edges are charred just right. However, it is a bit dry and flour-y as you get near the crust, so next time I think we'll order a side of sauce for dipping. Fantastic pizza, reminds me of some tavern style pizzas I've had around the north Jersey area. The salads were also fresh, and the Italian bread was still warm and crispy from the oven. I'll come back here many times.

This place was highly reccomended. It would be nice if they had a one person size pizza since I was solo, but I get the not serving slices. The pizza was good, but it may have been just a little to crispy and crunchy for me, I like a little chew to my crust. I'd eat it again but would probably get a plain cheese pie. It might get a little less oven time

If you like thin and crispy crust, this is the spot. Everything is fresh and tasty. Wife and I split a pizza (we got a large cuz it's $2 more and had leftovers to take home) and each got a salad. Perfect amount of food. I wish they did fountain drinks instead of just cans & bottles but that's a small complaint. Small spot so make sure you call ahead to ask about table availability. Note that parking on-site is tight so they have a complimentary valet during dinner. Remember, they're cash only so pick some up before heading there. They have an ATM on-site but it probably charges some crazy fees.

Fantastic, old school place. Sometimes simple is best, and all the frills aren't necessary. The pizza lives up to the hype and you can taste the experience in each pie. There is absolutely no flop, and the thin crust is reminiscent of Roman style thin crust pizza. You will likely have to wait on any given night to eat this pizza, but it is worth is. (Pictured is the grandma pie- Not pictured is the infamous cheese pie)

this pizza is so good I’m visiting from out of state and I wanted to try some pizza and I was kind of weary because the last time I had pizza in New York. It wasn’t all that good but this is so good especially when i addedred pepper flakes, Parmesan, oregano and black pepper (don’t mind me im extra lol) but even before all those additions it was still tasty. atmosphere was nice and clean all of the employees including the lady that took my order were very nice. I will definitely be back before I leave! btw looks much better than the picture.

Johnny's Pizzeria is a classic Top 3 New York-style pizzeria that has been serving up delicious pizza for over 70 years. The thin crust is crispy, the sauce is tangy and flavorful, and the cheese is melted to perfection. The service is friendly like everyone knows everyone. I ordered a large pie with half sausage and half anchovies, and it was absolutely delicious. The sausage was perfectly cooked and the anchovies added a nice salty flavor. I washed it down with a cold beer, and it was the perfect meal. Overall, I had an amazing experience at Johnny's Pizzeria. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere was fun and casual. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great pizza experience.

First time coming here and it was amazing. Pizza was delicious and the chicken cutlet I ordered with spaghetti was spot on. Cheese cake was really good to. Recommend coming here for sure. Just be sure to have cash as they don’t take cards.

If you are a pizza lover, then Johnny's is a must place to visit. It's among the best pizza I've ever had. It's thin crust pizza that is very crunchy with the perfect ratio of sauce to cheese. We ordered a regular cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza. The pepperoni, in particular, was very tasty. We also started with a salad and fried ravioli which were both very good. Service was very friendly. Complimentary valet parking.
